The X1 Series offers a full spectrum of modules, including pass-throughs, galvanic isolators, signal conditioner, relays, and intrinsically safe modules. These modules are specifically designed to provide seamless interfacing for customer systems, accommodating both analog and digital field signal types. The series also supports intrinsically safe loops and can be safely installed in Zone 2 / Div 2 hazardous areas, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of industrial applications.

With its compact board design, the X1 Series significantly reduces cabinet utilization, leading to lower installation, wiring and maintenance costs. Its smaller footprint allows for more efficient space utilization in control rooms, while still providing ample flexibility for spare channels. Customizable solutions for 8 or 16 channel I/O cards ensure the X1 Series can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements, further enhancing its versatility and cost-effectiveness.

The X1 Series is fully certified to SIL 2 / SIL 3 standards in accordance with IEC61508, ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability in extreme applications. It features a fail-proof architecture with polarization keys that prevent dangerous misplacements by ensuring correct module insertion. Additionally, the gateway’s ability to identify each module’s unique ID and characteristics further enhances system safety and integrity.
Smart Features for Advanced Functionality
The X1 Series incorporates a range of smart features designed to streamline operations and enhance performance. A single remote access point allows for easy identification, configuration, monitoring, and SIL3 HART Multiplexing, while fault diagnostics for each channel are transparently acquired by the I/O card. The series supports multiple industrial protocols through the gateway, enabling seamless integration with existing systems. Multiple boards can be daisy-chained and remotely connected, providing unparalleled scalability and flexibility.
Robust Design for Extreme Conditions
The X1 Series is built to withstand the harshest conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. Its high-grade light plastic IP20 housing provides durable protection for the main board and I/O card cable connectors. LEDs for power, status, and fault indication are visible through a transparent cover for easy monitoring. The system’s mechanical polarization key and retention/detachment, besides preventing the risk of misplacements or damage mechanisms, ensure safe and secure module handling. The maintenance position, also provide the opportunity to perform maintenance operation and periodical checks to the field devices without unwiring the cabinet.
Efficient Space Utilization with Compact Dimensions
The X1 Series is designed with smaller overall dimensions, allowing for more efficient space utilization in control rooms. Its compact form factor, combined with in-built TS35 DIN rail mounting capabilities and extractable screw or spring field terminal blocks, makes it an ideal solution for installations where space is at a premium.
